Your Association’s Annual Meeting is in its’ final planning stages. This all-important meeting includes, as part of the meeting agenda, the election of officers in order to fill expiring terms of office. The official Annual Meeting date and finalized agenda will soon be announced.
Your Board of Directors invites all BHC OA residents (homeowners of properties marked on the map available to you on the Association’s website entitled “Who Belongs to Who in Block House Creek”) to strongly consider the option of running for office.
Eligible residents who choose to have their name placed on the ballot as a candidate must submit a statement of interest no later than September 22nd. Please submit your statement of interest to www.blockhousecreek.org or to the personal e-mail address of Board Secretary Pam Phillips, email@example.com.
Once you have officially declared yourself a candidate, it is also a requisite that you submit a short bio to introduce yourself to the community. Your bio will be mailed to OA residents along with the Annual Meeting proxies and official meeting notice. Once you have identified yourself as a candidate, you must also attend the Annual Meeting and be nominated from the floor, at which time you may introduce yourself to the community at large.
Serving as a BHC OA representative on behalf of your community is a rewarding experience.
