NEIGHBORS!

Over the years, how many of you have enjoyed the recreational activities BHC OA has shared with you, your family, and the entire community?

Such as…

Easter Egg Hunts? Zumba Classes? CPR Certification? Crafty Chicks Events? Texas Stars Nights? Movies Under the Stars? 4th of July Celebrations? Love Where You Live Festivals? 5K Run/Walks? Mixxed Fit Dancing & Toning Classes? Back to School Nights? Kid’s Art Classes? Holiday in the Park Events? Reindeer Run? Cocoa Christmas? And more. Each and every one of these events has been planned and coordinated by your Association’s Recreation Committee.

Over the course of time, many devoted BHC OA committee members have faced relocating or realigning of their commitments in order to devote their time to personal or family needs. Although we are sad to see them move on, we certainly understand.

Your BHC OA Recreation Committee is now in dire need of volunteers willing to serve as a BHC OA Recreation Committee member. Important to note is that if no residents make their desire to volunteer quickly known, BHC OA will likely no longer be able to offer the level of recreational activities it has offered in the past. And, your BHC OA may no longer be advertising family-fun events—such as Movies in the Park—that offer you-and-yours the opportunity to schedule the Pavilion, identify a movie, and have in place all the necessary equipment for a night of enjoyment.

To sign on as a BHC OA volunteer…www.blockhousecreek.org. Do note. In order for you to help out your community at large, it is not a requirement that you be a member of the Owner’s Association or that you help with all events. Simply volunteering to assist in any way, such as with a major or seasonal event (for example, Kid’s Summer Sports Camp) is an invaluable assist to your community.

As a BHC resident, if this message has reached your heart and you now wish to volunteer to serve as a member of the BHC OA Recreation Committee, take note. The newly named volunteer Recreation Committee Chair will be conducting a meeting at her residence this coming Thursday, 7:00 PM. If you wish to attend (and it is your Association’s heartfelt desire that you will), contact Pam Phillips. Contact info provided below, for details.

Hope to see you there!
