CALL FOR CANDIDATES! Your Association’s Annual Meeting is in its final planning stages. This all-important meeting includes the election of Board member(s) to fill expiring terms of office. One term of office is expiring with this year’s Annual Meeting. Board members are elected to serve three-year terms of office.

The Annual Meeting date and meeting agenda will soon be announced, and meeting notice packets will be mailed to Association members (owners of property within the BHC Owners Association). See “Who Belongs to Who in Block House Creek” on the Association website, www.blockhousecreek.org, to determine which properties are within the Association.

Your Board of Directors invites all Association members to consider running for office. Serving as a BHC Owners Association Board member is a rewarding experience, both personally and professionally.

Members who wish to appear on the ballot as a candidate must submit a statement of interest and brief bio (500 words or less) as soon as possible (no later than Friday, October 12). Please submit your statement of interest to www.blockhousecreek.org or to the personal e-mail address of Board Secretary Pam Phillips, pamlabee@sbcglobal.net.

Candidates should plan to attend the Annual Meeting and be prepared to introduce themselves to the membership. Nominations will also be taken from the floor. Nominees from the floor must be present to accept the nomination. All candidates will be allotted five minutes to address the membership.
