For an emergency, call 911 from anywhere in the county.
WHAT NUMBER SHOULD I CALL IF I NEED THE POLICE BUT IT’S NOT AN EMERGENCY?
Call 512-943-1389. That will connect you to Police Dispatch but will not tie up emergency lines.
SHOULD I CALL THE POLICE TO REPORT SUSPECTED CRIMINAL ACTIVITY IN MY NEIGHBORHOOD?
Yes. Even if you are not sure anything illegal is going on, it’s best to call. If there is criminal activity, the Police need to investigate.
WHAT SHOULD I LOOK FOR?
Description of suspects, the color, make, and model of a suspicious vehicle, and, most importantly, a vehicle’s license plate number.
