GOOD NEWS! BHC OA’s FIRST ANNUAL KITE FESTIVAL IS ON! That’s tomorrow, March 30th, 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM, Tonkawa Park. Weather forecasters are now saying not only will the wind will be perfect for kite flying but there’s only a slim chance of very light and scattered sprinkles! Do note the probability of a temperature drop. You might want to bring along a jacket.

What’s in store for all? A flag raising ceremony, hourly surprise drops from the sky, a professional kite flying show, a homemade kite contest (for ages 17 and under and 18 and older with first, second, and third prizes), food for sale from Alamo Bound BBQ, photo ops, and more!

11:00—Flag Raising Ceremony; 10:45 to 12:00—Contestant Sign-In?; 12:30 to 1:00—Homemade Kite Contest & Judging; ?1:30—Announcement of Winners

PARKING IS LIMITED.You are encouraged to walk or bike to the park. If you need to bring a car, please park along Block House Drive. When parking, do be considerate of our neighbors living near the park.
